December Favorites!

December has felt like the quickest month of the year, and I could only put together a few things that I truly have fallen in love with and want to tell you guys about.

BEAUTY- Throughout the past few months I've tried several foundations, lipsticks, and perfumes to find one that I really like, and I found some. The first beauty product is the tarte amazonian clay full coverage foundation. It is such an amazing foundation, and it helps to even out skin tone as well. The second beauty products are for lips. The "Coral Garden" by Rimmel London is gorgeous and gives a nice touch of color. Eos! If you've never heard of eos chap stick you need to try it out. It is the best chapstick, and it's easy to carry around or throw in your purse.

HAIR- Hair is very important, because it can get damaged very easily. A nice comb will help to make sure there's no breakage when brushing your hair. This comb from Sephora is a perfect shower comb and good for wet hair. Next, if you have wavy or curly hair like myself and haven't found a product to tame those curls but keep them looking good. Bumble and Bumble have a great product called "Curl Conscious Reactivating Mist," and it is perfect for anytime!

PERFUME/SMELLS- There are a million different perfumes, and I love trying new ones but I always find myself going back to these ones. The "Secret Craving" by Victoria's Secret has been one of my favorite scents for years, and I've found that I've been using it a lot lately. Another perfume that I love is "Warm Vanilla Sugar" by Bath and Body Works. It is quite a sweet smell but I get compliments every time I wear it. Now who doesn't love a great smelling candle in their house? This one from Bath and Body Works is a sweet and homely smell and perfect for the winter. It's called Vanilla Bean Noel. I also have this in the bath scrub, and it's incredible!

FASHION ITEMS- A few of these items you may have seen already, and that's because they're my favorites. First are these knee high boots from H&M that I got a few weeks ago. They were a great price, and look similar to the Stuart Weitzman boots that are hundreds of dollars. Next are the Superstar Adidas. They're so comfortable and can be worn with practically everything! Purse time.. I asked for this purse for Christmas, and was so surprised when I opened a present to see this gorgeous Coach purse! It's so beautiful, and it's a favorite already! Beanies and scarves have always been a go to for me in the Winter, and these two items are so warm and cozy as well as super cute! To stay warm I love layering. What better way to layer than with a cardigan? This one from H&M was affordable, and it's nice and big to keep me warm! Lastly, are some nice black leggings from Topshop. They're thick and not see through at all. Perfect for all year.

MUSIC- I had to recommend these two items, because I love them both. I've had the beats pill for a year or so now, but it's grown on me so much. What better way to play your music than through a nice sound system? "Made In The A.M" by One Direction is my favorite album yet, and anyone who hasn't heard the album yet should. It has multiple different tunes and anyone can find a song in there that they can sing along to. It is a 5/5 and I'm not just saying that because I've been a fan for years.

Hope you guys enjoyed and tell me if you try anything out or get anything!

New Years Resolutions and Goals

2016 is almost here and that means new goals are set, and resolutions are made. It is a good idea to write down small goals each day to try to accomplish, as well as writing down bigger goals to achieve by the end of the year. I've never written down my resolutions, and I always ended up forgetting the resolution that I made. This year I decided to write down my goals, therefore I will remember them, and I will be able to look back at this post next year and see what I've fulfilled!

GOALS/RESOLUTIONS!

1. Exercise at least 2-3 times a week.
Exercising isn't only good for toning your body, or losing weight, it's good for your health!

 2. Get good grades in school, at least a 3.0.
I'm going to a new college, and I want to keep my gpa up and continue to do well.

3. Meet new people.
Since I'm transferring I'll have to put myself out there in order to meet new people and makes new friends. It's not the easiest for me, since I am a little shy but challenging myself to be more outgoing and get out there is going to be good for me.
4. Travel.
I've always loved traveling, and I hope I get to travel some more this year, and gain more experiences in another country or state.
5. Update my blog/ instagram frequently.
My blog, and instagram, and the people that support me mean the absolute world to me and I hope to grow my audience. I also hope to take more pictures and have a great experience with the people who believe in me.

6. Do some type of internship or experience with fashion.
I love fashion, and have always been interested in putting items together in order to make a great outfit. I hope to learn more about the fashion industry and learn the background of it all.

Winter Wonderland Wardwrobe Essentials

During the Winter it seems most of our closet space can be taken. Wonder why? We have to stay warm during the cold months to come! Above are a few must haves to embrace the cold and still look fashionable!

TOPS, BLOUSES, AND SHIRTS OH MY- To stay warm, it is a good idea to add some over-sized, or turtleneck sweaters. Blouses are always good to have as well during the winter as you can layer them with a sweater over it! Flannels.. flannels are always a go to. They're cute and they come in multiple colors!

JACKETS AND COATS- Over the past few months faux fur coats have been seen everywhere, and trending worldwide. If not a fur coat, then a fur vest, or a suede jacket! Next is the leather jacket. Now a leather jacket is a must have for anyone! They're so versatile and can be layered as well.

JEANS, AND LEGGINGS- Jeans are obviously needed, who wants to wear shorts in the winter? Unless it's hot where you are then that's great! Leggings are perfect for sporting a casual look or if you feel like wearing something more comfortable than jeans.

ACCESSORIES/ SHOES- On the subject of staying warm.. beanies.. scarves.. gloves.. Beanies are one of my favorite accessories to wear during the Winter because they aren't a year round item. The beanies with a pom pom are my favorite! Now shoes.. the favorites for this season are knee high boots, leather boots, and a nice pair of tennis shoes/ or your favorite comfortable shoe!

Happy Holidays!

Something sequin

December is coming closer and closer to an end and we all know what that means.. Christmas parties.. New Years Eve parties.. and something sequined is needed..

H&M has a great collection of sequins right now and they're affordable too! I put together four different outfits with something sequined from their store.

LOOK ONE- A nice sequin dress is perfect if you need to dress up. Why not add in a nice pair of heels too? It'll make you look more stylish and taller too!

LOOK TWO- The second look is great for a party, or for a dinner. It's casual, cute, and not too overboard.

LOOK THREE- The third look is great if it isn't too cold in your area, and you can still wear skirts. A sequin skirt is very flattering when paired with a tight plain top, and some knee high boots.

LOOK FOUR- This outfit screams Harry Styles to me, and that's one of the reasons I love it so much. A nice gold sequin jacket is perfect if you want to stay casual and add a pop of something.

Holiday party looks

New Years Eve is in a few days, and it's always great to have an outfit planned rather than scurrying around trying to find the right outfit last minute. Therefore, I put together eight outfits to help you guys get an idea on what to wear. There are four casual outfits and four dressier ones. I hope you guys find inspiration and enjoy the looks!

LOOK ONE- The first look is one of my favorites, because it can be classified as fancy or casual. The leather pants give the look a nice edge, whereas the plain grey long sleeve with cutouts balances the outfit out to not make it too overboard. I put platform heels in the outfit, but any leather ankle boots would look just as good!

LOOK TWO- The second look may be all black, but it is very girly. The A-line skirt with the slight turtleneck helps to slim the waist and give off a girly look. If it is cold, wearing tights is a good idea. Also pairing the outfit with a long coat just below the skirt can add warmth, as well as cuteness!

LOOK THREE- This look also contains a turtleneck, but it's paired with jeans and a leather jacket. It's casual, and fancy. Turtlenecks always seem to make an outfit more unique, and put together. The blue is a good choice when deciding what color to wear for the party because it looks good on a lot of people, and it's a Holiday color!

LOOK FOUR- Dresses are always a great option when going to a party, because they are very cute and can be dressed up. The dress I chose is this beautiful burgundy color one paired with suede knee high boots. Knee high boots look incredible with an A-line style dress as well as sweater dresses. They give off that "winter look" and instantly put an outfit together!

LOOK FIVE- For the first casual look I went with a pair of black jeans, a burgundy reddish sweater, and a pair of leather boots. This look can be easily created, and it would look incredible with a matching lip color to make the outfit look more edgier if needed to!

LOOK SIX- This is one of my favorite go to looks, and I thought why not incorporate it into a New Years party outfit! Collared shirts automatically add that "quirky, smart" look. I love putting a plain collared shirt under a sweater or vise versa. If you want a casual and quirky look for the party this is a great choice!

LOOK SEVEN- This outfit is another look that can be easily recreated with a white tee, black blazer, dark jeans, and Adidas. If you don't own Adidas, oxfords, and boots could work as well. Wearing this outfit with a dark lip would be the perfect look!

LOOK EIGHT- For the eighth look I mixed casual, and fancy. I love wearing gold, as it is one of my favorite colors. The fact that it's a Christmas/ New Years color makes me so happy! When choosing what button up look for these colors- black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, gold, or silver. Then adding a pair of black jeans and suede boots would create the look. Don't forget a nice necklace. The gold tassel I included in the outfit is one of my favorites, and they are becoming more and more in style!

Happy Holidays!

Suede in the streets

Fall is coming to an end in a few days, so I decided to wear one of my favorite fall essentials in this outfit. Suede boots. Who doesn't like suede boots? The fun thing about these adorable boots is that they can be dressed up and dressed down. In this outfit of the day I went for a more casual and cute look rather than a dressed up one. The ripped jeans tie in a casual laid back look as well as the plain black long sleeve top. I then decided to add a cute accessory with one of my go to necklaces, a gold tassel necklace. If you haven't grabbed yourself a cute tassel necklace yet, it's about time! They're quickly becoming a staple in my wardrobe.

Holiday gift guide for her

Are you stuck wondering what to get her? Whether it be a friend, girlfriend, sister, mom, I've come up with a few ideas that could be good for anyone! As I was putting this together I kept in mind all the types of girls that are out there. We don't all like the same thing, and I was sure to incorporate things for every girl.

SHOES- First off, I chose some shoes that have been in style this year and that I think are going to stay in style for a while. There's the simple leather boots that deserve to be in everyone's closet whether it be for a casual look or to dress up. The next boot I included is the classic knee high boots. This style of boot has been worn by a lot of celebrities, models, and I think they're a great way to spice up an outfit. Next, are the adidas superstars. I remember when these first came out, and they were sold out everywhere. Now that it's been a few months they're available practically everywhere. Get a hold of them while you can! That someone could be wishing for them!

CASUAL WEAR- The next choices I picked are for a girl who likes to be comfortable, and cute. Victoria's Secret has the comfiest shirts and the best pair of leggings. The sweaters come in all different styles, and many girls would appreciate a sweater or sweatshirt from there. They also have the classic black leggings that are not see through which is a must have for anyone. Socks are also a must have if someone wants to keep their feet warm in the cold months to come!

JACKETS/ CARDIGANS- During the winter months a jacket is most likely the most worn item. Who wants to be cold? There are several different in style jackets right now from bomber jackets, to suede jackets. Cardigans are also going to be popular throughout the next few months. Why not get something to keep someone warm?

JEWELRY- Jewelry is a gift where you can't go wrong. Anyone would be happy to accept jewelry, because it can add more detail to a simple outfit. Tassel necklaces are also becoming available everywhere, and they're cute to wear with a simple tee. Next is a purse. This is a simple brown purse with a few tassels that I think is classy and cute. Another gift idea is a book bag. If they go to school or are running around a lot then a book bag is a great gift.

COFFEE- I know a lot of coffee lovers out there, one being my mom. A great gift for a coffee lover is a Keurig. I found one that's $120.00! That's a pretty good deal. Next, if you do decide to get the Keurig or if that someone already has it, K cups! K cups come in all different flavors from hazelnut, caramel, to french vanilla, and many more. If you don't have that much to spend but know they love coffee, a starbucks gift card is always a good option!

MAKEUP- Makeup has become more popular as well as used over the last few months with the high lighting contouring, and lip sticks so why not buy a kit for someone? I've read great reviews about all of these products, and it could be a good add to someones makeup collection. The mascara I included is the "better than sex" mascara, and it's been raved about all over social media by beauty gurus.

PERFUME/BATH- A perfume that is well known is the "Bombshell" by Victoria's Secret. I went into the store the other day to smell it, and I can't imagine anyone not loving the smell. It's subtle, and intriguing. Next, if you know someone who loves to smell good, and loves a relaxing bath then buy them a few bath bombs from Lush! There's all different colors and flavors. Each bath bomb is made to give a different mood. For instance the blue one above is called "frozen." The featured ingredient is grapefruit oil, which is meant to give that someone a relaxing bath filled with blue color, and snowdrifts.

READING- Do you know someone who loves to read? or loves fashion? or loves both? A book that has been my all time favorite is "The Fault In Our Stars," by John Green. I read the book before the movie came out and I think people should read the book as well. If that someone loves drama, truth, and heart wrenching books then this book is perfect for her. Another reading, for someone who may not love reading but likes pictures, is a copy of vogue, seventeen magazine, or anything on stands. My favorite is Seventeen Magazine! Another option, if you know someone with a bit too many books, buy them a book shelf, or a book case. It'll tidy up their home and they'll be grateful!

I hope that this gift guide was helpful for you guys, and I would love to know if you do decide to buy something that I mentioned! All items are below $200.00 as well! Happy Holidays!
